Ingredients:

  • 80 ml (1/3 cup) extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon freshly chopped rosemary
  • 2 teaspoons dry active yeast
  • 1/4 teaspoon powdered sugar
  • 1 cup (225 grams) lukewarm water
  • 2 1/2 cups (300 grams) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Garlic Rosemary Oil:
    • In a small saucepan, combine the extra virgin olive oil, chopped garlic, and freshly chopped rosemary.
    • Heat the mixture over low heat for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally until the garlic begins to sizzle. Be careful not to brown the garlic. Remove from heat and set aside.

    • In a large mixing bowl, dissolve the dry active yeast and powdered sugar in lukewarm water. Let it sit for a few minutes until it becomes frothy.
