Cajun Shrimp Deviled Eggs
ingredients
1 dozen eggs
2 dozen medium fresh shrimp
1 teaspoon cooking oil
1/2 small lemon
2-3 tablespoons of mayonnaise
1/2-1 tablespoon hot sauce – depending on spice level
1 tablespoon sweet spice
1-2 teaspoons Old Bay Seasoning + 2 teaspoons (for the Cajun shrimp)
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill + 2 teaspoons (for garnish)
Salt + Pepper To taste
How to Make Cajun Shrimp Deviled Eggs

Carefully place the eggs in a shallow pan.
Cover with water and cover the eggs. Once the eggs begin to boil, turn off the heat and let sit, covered, for 15-20 minutes.
Stuffed with Cajun Eggs
Peel the eggs, cut in half and place the yolks in a medium bowl. Place the egg white halves on a paper towel to dry.
Add the listed ingredients to the bowl along with the egg yolks, starting with the mayonnaise. After adding each ingredient, season according to taste and spiciness.
Stir until creamy, cover and set aside.
Cajun Shrimp
In a medium skillet over medium/high heat, add the olive oil.Pat the shrimp dry with a paper towel. Add Ole Bay and stir until the shrimp are well coated.
Fry
shrimp until cooked through (if raw) or lightly charred.Halfway through cooking, add about 1 teaspoon of lemon juice to the shrimp.
Cajun Shrimp Deviled Egg Dish
Divide egg mixture evenly between egg white cups and garnish with Cajun shrimp.
