Delicious Egg Salad for Sandwiches

An Easy and Flavorful Classic

Ingredients:

  • 8 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon prepared yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onion
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • Fresh dill (optional), finely chopped, for added flavor

Directions:

  1. Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with cold water. Bring the water to a boil, then immediately remove the saucepan from the heat source. Cover the saucepan and allow the eggs to sit in the hot water for 10 to 12 minutes.
  2. Remove the eggs from the hot water, cool them under cold running water, and then peel and chop them finely.
  1. Transfer the chopped eggs to a mixing bowl. Add mayonnaise, prepared mustard, chopped green onion, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Optionally, sprinkle in some paprika for color and additional flavor.

  3. Gently stir all the ingredients together until well combined.

  5. Refrigerate any leftover egg salad in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
