1 loaf of French bread or Italian bread

1 pound (450g) thinly sliced steak (such as ribeye or sirloin)

1 large onion, thinly sliced

1 large green bell pepper, thinly sliced

8 ounces (225g) mushrooms, sliced

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

8 ounces (225g) provolone cheese, sliced

8 ounces (225g) mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/4 cup (60ml) mayonnaise

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
