Taquitos (air-fried, fried or baked)

*Ingredients:

°1 pound mince or chicken

°1 onion cut into cubes

°2 garlic cloves, chopped

°1 teaspoon chili powder

°1 teaspoon cummins

°1/2 teaspoon oregano dried

°1/4 teaspoon salt

°1/4 teaspoon black pepper

°1 cup grated cheddar cheese

°8-10 Corn tortilla

°Oil for frying (in case of frying or deep frying)

*Methods:

In a large frying pan, cook the mince or chicken over medium heat until brown, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat, if any.

Add onion and garlic to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until cooked.

Add chilli powder, cumin, oregano, salt and black pepper. Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until perfumed.

Remove from the heat and stir in the grated cheese.

Preheat your air fryer 400F the oven or preheat it until 425F if you plan to bake it.

Take corn tortillas and add 2 tablespoons of meat mixture to the middle. Tightly wrap the tortilla around the filling, tucking it into the ends to close.

Repeat the process with the remaining tortilla and meat mixture.

Air fryer method:

  1. Once the air fryer is preheated, add the taketos in one layer and cook for 8-10 minutes or until crisp and golden.

Pan Method:

  1. In a large pan over medium heat, add the oil and wait until hot. Add the tacitus and cook for 2-3 minutes each side or until crispy and golden.

Baked Method:

  1. Put the tacitus on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Gently sprinkle with oil and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until crispy and golden.

Serve hot taketos with your favorite layer such as guacamole, sour cream, sauce or coriander.
