Air Fryer Baked Potatoes
Ingredients:
- 4 medium potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat Your Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and allow it to preheat for a few minutes.
- Prepare the Potatoes: Wash the potatoes thoroughly under cold water, scrubbing them gently to remove any dirt or debris. Pat them dry with a kitchen towel. Using a fork, pierce each potato several times to allow steam to escape during cooking.
- Season the Potatoes: Drizzle olive oil over each potato, ensuring they are evenly coated. Rub the oil into the skin with your hands, covering the entire surface. Sprinkle generously with salt and pepper, adjusting to taste.
- Air Fry: Carefully place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket, making sure not to overcrowd them. If necessary, cook the potatoes in batches. Close the air fryer basket and set the timer for 35-40 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the skins are crispy and golden brown.
- Serve: Remove the potatoes from the air fryer using tongs or a spatula. Allow them to cool for a few minutes before serving. Slice each potato lengthwise down the center, being careful not to cut all the way through. Use a fork to fluff up the insides. Top with your favorite toppings, such as butter, sour cream, cheese, chives, or bacon bits.
