We’re going to start with our sauce by melting some butter and add in flour, give it a good mix, pour in the milk and stir it until it comes up to the SEMA and thickens, then just add a pinch of nutmeg a decent crack of pepper and a half teaspoon of salt.

Add some cheese, when the ingredient is combined and milted pour some of it in a casserole dish and mike sure its covers the whole bottom, then a layer of potatoes followed by the onion and spoon on another layer of that sauce, and another layer of potatoes, and another layer of sauce and the rest of potatoes in the top.

Then cover it well with cheese and sprinkle some chives on the top.
