Salted Toffee Pretzel Cracker Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 ounces pretzel crackers
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
  2. Arrange a single layer of pretzel crackers on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  3. In a saucepan, combine the butter and dark brown sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil and let it boil for 3 minutes.
  4. Immediately pour the hot butter-sugar mixture over the arranged pretzel crackers, ensuring they are completely covered.
  5. Place the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake for 5 to 6 minutes.
  1. Remove the tray from the oven and evenly sprinkle the semi-sweet chocolate chips over the hot toffee-covered crackers. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to soften the chocolate.
  2. Once the chocolate has softened, spread it evenly over the toffee-covered crackers using a spatula.
  3. Sprinkle the chopped walnuts over the softened chocolate.
  4. Allow the toffee to cool completely for about 25 minutes.
  5. Once cooled, cut the toffee into pieces of desired sizes.
