CALIFORNIA SPAGHETTI SALAD

Italian Pasta Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb spaghetti, cooked and drained
  • 1 1/2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 2 zucchini, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 red onion, diced
  • 1 can sliced black olives, drained

For the Dressing:

  • 1 bottle Italian dressing
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Preparation:

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Drain and rinse it in cold water.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced zucchini, tomatoes, cucumber, bell peppers, onion, and drained black olives.
  3. In a separate smaller bowl, whisk together the Italian dressing, sesame seeds, grated parmesan cheese, paprika, celery seed, and garlic powder to create the dressing.
  4. Add the cooked and cooled spaghetti to the bowl containing the mixed vegetables and black olives.
  1. Pour the prepared dressing over the spaghetti and vegetables, then toss everything together until thoroughly combined and coated with the dressing.
  2. Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator to chill for at least 3 hours before serving.
  3. Serve the Italian Pasta Salad chilled and enjoy this delightful and refreshing dish!
