Shrimp Fried Rice Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 cup medium-sized shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 cups cooked white rice
- 2 cups frozen peas and carrots
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 beaten egg
- 2 tbsp chopped green onions
Instructions:
- Wash and rinse the shrimp, then set them aside.
- Cook the white rice according to the package instructions and set it aside.
- Place a skillet over medium heat, add oil, and minced garlic. Stir the garlic for about a minute until fragrant.
- Add the frozen peas, carrots, and shrimp to the skillet. Stir and cook for about 5 minutes until the shrimp are cooked through.
- In a bowl, combine the sesame oil and soy sauce.
- Add the cooked white rice to the skillet, then pour in the soy sauce mixture. Stir and fry for about 4 minutes.
- Push the rice and shrimp mixture to one side of the skillet.
- Crack the beaten egg into the skillet and stir it constantly until it’s almost cooked. Then mix it into the rice and shrimp.
- Garnish with chopped green onions.
- Serve and enjoy your delicious shrimp fried rice!
