Oven-Baked Sea Bream with Vegetables

🧂 Ingredients:

  • 3–4 whole sea bream (cleaned and scaled)
  • 3 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2–3 green peppers (or chili peppers), sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano or thyme
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Optional: minced garlic, chopped parsley

👩‍🍳 Preparation Steps:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
  2. Prepare the fish:
    • Rinse and pat dry the sea bream.
    • Make small cuts on each side.
    • Rub with olive oil, salt, pepper, cumin, paprika, and lemon juice (inside and outside).
  3. Prepare the vegetables:
    • In a large bowl, mix the potatoes, tomatoes, onions, and peppers.
    • Add olive oil, salt, pepper, and herbs. Toss well to coat.
  4. Arrange everything:
    • Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
    • Spread the vegetables evenly, then place the seasoned fish on top.
  5. Bake:
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 30–40 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
  6. Serve:
    • Garnish with fresh parsley and a drizzle of lemon juice.
    • Serve hot with bread or rice.
