Easy Cheesy Breadsticks Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 (10 ounce) can prepared pizza crust
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1/2 cup provolone cheese, shredded
- 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
Instructions:
- Preparation: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Preparation of Dough:
- Unroll the pizza dough onto a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Brush the surface of the dough with melted butter.
- Toppings:
- Sprinkle the shredded provolone cheese evenly over the dough.
- Sprinkle parmesan cheese, dried basil, and garlic salt evenly over the cheese-topped dough.
- Cutting the Dough:
- Using a pizza cutter, slice the dough lengthwise into 12 long strips.
- Then cut these strips in half, resulting in a total of 24 strips.
- Avoid separating the strips completely; they should remain attached at one end.
- Baking:
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the breadsticks turn light golden brown.
- Finishing Touch:
- Once baked, recut along each strip to separate them and remove them from the baking sheet.
- Serving:
- Serve the cheesy breadsticks warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
